Are you still using the plain vanilla “Contact Us” forms on your website to capturing leads? If so, it's time to consider creating custom landing pages for specific search terms.

What exactly are landing pages?

They are pages on your website that are designed for SEO and have forms to capture customer and prospect information.  For example, let say you’re a company that sells multiple product lines.

When people search for one of your product lines where do you want them to end up? On the front page of the website, or on a customized page that is primarily focusing on that specific product? If you send them to a customized page, you will be much more likely to convert these visitors into leads. Why is that? Visitors will easily give up if they can’t find the information they are looking for quickly.

  • Use a strong call to action
  • Optimize the page for SEO in the title and H1 tags.
  • Use bullets
  • Remove navigation
  • Use testimonials
  • Don't ask for too much information on forms
